Found written on a pack of instant oatmeal this morning:
A typical breakfast in Japan consists of Rice, Fish, Soup, Pickles and Seaweed.
After reading this aloud the 3 year old quips "Oh MOMMY that is SO nasty mommy, are we so sad that they don't know about oak-meal and gwi-uts?"
AND "Andrew's tummy would starve and hurt if we had to go to a-pan"
My sentiments exactly.
Happy Wednesday and
Much Love,
Jennifer

I love that! I'm amazed at what kids come up with--you relaize they are always thinking. Glad to see you're a grits gal--we love them at our house.
It's hard enough for me to look at eggs in the morning...fish and seaweed would send me over the edge.
Andrew's a smart kid. : )
Bring it on! I'll even eat leftovers for breakfast as my husband watches and slowly turns green :) Never have cared for the taste of seaweed though. My husband will be spending some time in Japan in the new year. I wonder what he'll get for breakfast, heh heh!
Oak-meal and gwi-uts! :D
Not so sure about the gwi-uts part, being a Northwestern gal, but Oak-meal sure sounds better than seaweed! ;)
I know it's a little sad with your hubby gone, but have a blessed Thanksgiving, Jennifer!
Lol! Seaweed!! For breakfast? Oh my! I just popped over to say Happy Thanksgiving!
Am I to assume "gwi-uts" are grits? I'm not from the south, so I'm just guessing here...
:) So cute!
