Hi, I found your blog through the Boomama home tour (by the way, your home looks beautiful) & I loved this post! It so beautiful and it really says it all... I almost feel like wanting to be a Mississipi Girl after reading your post :-)I love the song & I`m enjoying the sound of it as I write this. Merry christmas, Elisabeth
Cooool song. I do love the country style. The email I sent you got returned undeliverable, I'll try again.Love and hugsSarah (Mrs Blythe)
Jennifer, you do your state proud!!What a great post!
Loved the video and so beautifully written, Jennifer! And I always immediately thought you were describing yourself with the title. Although I'm a northwestern girl, I've always had a fondness for the south. (If I simply hear a southern accent for more than 5 minutes, I will accidently start speaking with one!) :)Blessings!~Tammy
Ooops, forgot this doesn't link me...http://familydoins.blogspot.com/
I've always loved that song and I loved the way you wrote about your home state. I understand how you feel, I've always been proud to be from Texas and can't imagine calling anywhere else home.
I just found your blog by browsing all the homes. I am a MS girl also! We live in Desoto County....mins from Memphis!
Although I am a Northerner (and I do love the North too), having spent a lot of childhood in the South , a part of my heart will always be there. Thanks for your post!
Love this song!! I am not from Mississippi, however I can understand the love you have for your state. I feel the same way about my home here in South Carolina. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Merry Christmas and Have A Blessed New Year!! Karen
Hey Jennifer, what a nice post and I watched the video and I liked it, Faith is a good singer. I have family in Mississippi on my husband side. I was raised up North but people always think I am from down South because I have that Southern Charm (smile). Thanks for the post I enjoyed it and your comments while listening to the music of the video was very heartfelt.
Well, Hey Mississipp Girl! you will forever be known as that by my girls(heehee) when we were getting Andy's package together I would speak of Jennifer's husband and they would always come back with you mean Mississippi Girl !I see that you mailbox has been set up and it looks really pretty! Hope you are having a great day! Michelle
