Favorites

One of my absolute favorite scriptures and one that has been on my heart (and on a sticky note on my bathroom mirror!!) lately is this:

"Thou art my servant, I have chosen thee and not cast thee away. Fear thou not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed, for I am thy God. I will strengthen thee, yea, I will help thee, yea, I will uphold thee withthe right hand of my righteousness"
Isaiah 41:9-10

Isn't that amazing? I think of it everyday when I am at the point that I think I cannot do/handle one more thing... and it always sustains me. What beautiful, wonderful words of life.
What are your favorite verses? Sustaining verses? Life verses?

Happy Tuesday and
Much Love,

Fun to see you visited! I haven't been over here in awhile so it was fun to come back and see your gorgeous pic with your new "do"! You are incredibly beautiful!

Fav. Scriptures: The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only who came from the Father full of grace and truth. John 1:14

The Lord God is my strength. He will make my feet like hind's feet and make me walk upon the heights. Hab. 3:19 (You have to read Hind's Feet on High Places to get the whole gist of this amazing verse!)

"Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come." Rev. 4:8b

Jennifer,
Keep saturating yourself with the Word of God. It WILL sustain you and comfort you!

My life verse is 1 John 1:7:
"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin."

I have been claiming Galatians 6:9 during this season of my life.
"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."

Hi Jennifer,

What a great verse! One of my favorites is I Peter 4:12-19

Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a busybody in other people’s matters. Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter. For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? Now “ If the righteous one is scarcely saved,Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?” Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.

A long one, but a great one! By the way, I love your new hair do :)

Jeremiah 29:11

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future".

Just beautiful!

Philippians 4:6-7 and 13
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Isaiah 53:5: But He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by his wounds we are healed.
