Don't get around much....

....... anymore!
No, I haven't been around much lately, but for several good reasons. And here they are (listed in no particular order, of course!)
A. I sliced my palm (and forefinger) with a very large kitchen knife on Friday morning, thus making typing very difficult and quite painful.
B. Traveling (just a wee little jaunt up the road this weekend)
C. Being a bit under the weather (me and kiddies)
D. Trying to get Christmas cards completed and sent out (even slower with said palm/finger
incident)
E. Utter and absolute fatigue... I am quite weary of doing everything all by myself; and it does take its toll after a while!

So, there you have it, folks! Hope everyone has had restful, quiet family time this weekend... I just keep thinking about that wonderful quote from our heroine, Scarlett O'Hara ..."After all, tomorrow is another day !" My sentiments exactly, Scarlett. My sentiments exactly.
Happy Sunday and
Much Love,

Jennifer, I am sending you some godiva chocolate, chicken soup, and a great big hug over this computer right now!! To quote another famous line, "The sun will come out tomorrow!" And I'm going to be a Mama here: Don't be afraid to ask for help from friends and family because I know they would want to help you. You have so much on you right now that you have to just let others pitch in even though you want to do it all yourself. And take care of YOU so you can take care of THEM! Why not have a "getaway" day with your sister or girlfriends?? End of speech!! Lots of love, Susan P.

I'm so sorry,Jennifer about your hand! Also, the sweet part about doing it all alone....I know this must be the most difficult part! I have been praying for your husband! It sounds like you have such a sweet family. Just wanted you to know I was praying....

Do not grow weary in doing good....

I followed your link from Teeny Tiny Cabin, and your website is so charming - I love it! I can identify with you more than you know, I have two stepsons and a husband who just got over a terrible cold, and I have been down with it all weekend . . . I feel so sluggish, and to top it off, as I went to grate some cheese, I grated the skin off of my pointer finger knuckle - to the bone. Thank the Lord it just missed a vein that looked like it would have made a real bleeder, but I can't do much with my right hand right now!

OK, so I just read through some of your posts, and get the sense that your husband is away in the military and has been for a long time, my husband and I are going to be praying for you, your heart is so precious!

So Sorry to hear about your hand. I am praying for your husband as well, and for all of you as you go through the days without him there. I'm sure you have learned a lot through this and you will both probably have (or do already) a greater appreciation for one another.

You poor thing, Jennifer! I'm so sorry about your hand! And I so can feel for you with your dear hubby away and having to take complete responsibilty- and at Christmastime!

You'll be in my prayers. Hope things slow down and your hand heals quickly!

Oh, and some time when the kids are asleep, take some much-needed time for yourself to do something quiet that you like- just for you!

Blessings!

I am also very sorry about your hand. You need another dose of that coffee, paper and fire blazing when you wake in the morning.
