My own version of a "garden" this year... baby tomato plants (better boys!!), squash and green onions.
Flat of petunias in a yummy pink ready for planters on the patio
A new rose (Knockout!) that will (hopefully?!?) climb and spill over my back fence... and produce the "showers of blooms" promised .
And, finally, a shiner that is healing quite nicely from an overactive 4 year old in the back yard... The joy of a boy!!!
Happy Thursday!

my cousin in Miss. took out a whole flower bed last summer to change it out for Knock out roses, she says it is the best thing ever! I'm about to buy some for my empty flower bed in Texas and see how they do...I'm going to plant tomatoes too but I swear they still aren't as good as Miss. tomatoes!
I have had good results growing tomatoes in pots. I also have had peppers, too. It was much easier than to try and ammend this Georgia red clay! :o) There is nothing like going out on the patio and grabbin' a tomato! I've heard really good things about the Knockout roses. I can't wait to see how your's does.
I had to drop by and say hi, since it's been too long...
Poor little guy and his "shiner"! Love the expression, though!
And how beautiful you look in the vintage southern dresses in the post below! A true belle if ever I saw one! :)
Blessings,
~Tammy
