We had so much fun this past weekend doing this ....

Being born in MS, there is something special about having "deep" south roots. I am so proud of my southern-ness! I'm curious...are the dresses as heavy as they look?

Gosh, you're making me homesick. My family is from the Jackson and Vicksburg areas. Went to visit this summer and got to take my husband on his first tour of an Antebellum home.

Could you explain to an ignorant New Yorker exactly what you were doing? I clicked on the link and saw it's a tour of homes, but I just don't understand where the dress fits in. Did you wear the dress to the homes? Or is one of the homes on the tour yours, and you wore the dress to welcome people? It looks like so much fun, I just don't really get it. :-)
