I could relate with ALL 58!! 80's and 90's ROCK!!
Yup, that's me all over. And I lived in NJ, where they STILL have big hair!!
Oh my gosh, that brings back a memory. My baby sister (18 years younger than me) and her best friend went with us to the beach one summer. I am not kidding when I say that every, and I mean EVERY sentence that came out of their mouths ended in SIKE. I also need to mention every time they said it they would start laughing hysterically, and I mean EVERY TIME! LOL I was ready to put a muzzle on both of them!! Hadn't thought about that in years:)
Hilarious!! That was so fun, and brought back SO many funny memories!!
I believed that MASH could predict my future with complete accuracy.
I am sad to say how many of these I totally remember.
I love #39. What was up with all those socks?
This brought back memories.
Oh, I can totally relate to the WHOLE.ENTIRE.LIST! Thanks for bringing back the memories!
Everytime I see this list I have to read the whole thing again and I always get the giggles :)
Jennifer, I thought I was all alone in my love for things 80's. I wish there was a tv station with just 80's and some 90's stuff. Do you remember Family Ties? "Alex Keaton...he's so cute!" Anyway, I could wax nostalgic forever. When my nest is empty in 30 years, I'll curl up and watch DVDs of all my 80's and early 90's faves. Don't you just love Cosby!
What's wierd is that I wasn't alive in the 80's but can relate to some that =]
I'm so glad I wasn't the only one who tried to start her own babysitters' club AND a goonies' club!
I thought the title of Bon Jovi's song was "You Give Love a Bad Name." It begins with "shot through the heart" but that's not the name of the song. Am I wrong? Come on girls let's get this right! I had that cassette tape and drove my grandparents crazy listening to it constantly on a trip that year. That one, and Huey Lewis and the News!
I hear some of our styles are coming back, too. I WAS "Punky Brewster" and wore many pairs of brightly colored socks AND three different colored sets of shoelaces in my shoes!
Still have my Pound Puppy and Cabage Patch dolls, too.
I can't wait till we all start tight rolling our jeans again!
SIKE!
And if my hair didn't do right in the morning... I knew it was going to be a bad day! Loved Fraggle Rock and The Smurfs (my nickname used to be Smurfette)! So funny - I tight rolled (we called it "pegged") my pants last week to remind someone of what that was! Barbie and the Rockers - Rocking out with Totally and the crew - And the crew - Dana, Dee Dee, Derek and Dina too! We're Barbie and the Rockers!!!!! How do I say - I still remember those words like it was yesterday.... Those were the days! Thanks for the stroll in memory lane!
Ok, yes, all of these, but what is the "Care Bear stare"?
You have such a cute blog, and I saw you like "To Kill A Mockingbird", I recently re-read that along with the new biography of Harper Lee called "Mockingbird" and I loved it all over again!!
