Festival Fun

We attended a Fall Festival today at my Grandparent's church, and the children had a blast! Andrew even won a cake at the cakewalk (he chose the cupcakes, of course), decorated a pumpkin and jumped on the spacewalk. Little Miss Priss was content to view most of the action from mama's lap (and hip) until she spied a lollipop... then it was over. I got to eat a good, fresh off the grill burger, catch up with old friends, eat boiled peanuts (one of my absolute FAV foods ever) and see someone get "pie in the face". It was a beautiful afternoon!
Happy Monday and
Much Love,

Sounds like a great afternoon. Caroline always chooses the cupcakes, too.

What a fun day! You know, I just heard about boiled peanuts for the first time? There's a recipe for how to make them in the November issue of Martha Stewart Living.

What a fun day! Boiled peanuts, hmm. My friends from South Carolina were always eating them and absolutely loved them. For some reason I just could never develope a taste for them. I promise I tried, though!! LOL
