Made Me Glad

This has been the song of my heart of late. The music that goes with it is beautiful, but the words speak to me in so many ways these days. He truly has made me glad, lifted me out of the pit, and set my feet upon a rock. To Him be the praise forever.

"Made Me Glad" words and music by Miriam Webster

I will bless the Lord forever
I will trust him at all times
He has delivered me from all fear
He has set my feet upon a rock
I will not be moved
and I'll say of the Lord

You are my shield, my strength
my portion, deliverer
my shelter, strong tower
my very present help in time of need

Whom have I in heaven but you
There's none I desire besides you
You have made me glad and
I'll say of the Lord

You are my shield, my strength
my portion, deliverer,
my shelter, strong tower
my very present help in time of need

My very present help in time of need

Happy Monday and
Much Love,
Jennifer

Wow, that IS beautiful! I love those words. The psalm that it's based on has blessed me numerous times. I've never heard this song though. Must be amazing! Thanks for posting it.

I stumbled on your delightful blog the other day and promptly put it in my favorites ;). God bless you!

I found your blog (from a link and another link and so on) and I think you have such a cute blog.
Anyway - this is one of my VERY favorite songs and I had a miscarriage this summer and afterwards - I would listen to this song over and over and it helped me praise God in what could have been a very sad time. I heard it at a Beth Moore conference the first time.
Thanks for your encouraging blog!
