Say Thanks

This is something cool that Xerox is doing...
If you go to this web site, www.LetsSayThanks.com you can pick out a thank you card. Xerox will print it, and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq . You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to some member of the armed services. How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! This is a great site. Please send a card. It is FREE and it only takes a second. Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, our guys and gals over there need to know we are behind them...

It got this in an email from a friend the other day, and I have already done it twice! It only takes a second to do, and would mean so much to those in uniform for us to say "Thanks" for the sacrifices they make so that we can can live in the land of the free. All of you know that this is something near and dear to my heart right now because of my husband being one of those brave men serving us overseas! Anyway, click on over and give a minute of your day to a worthy cause.
Happy Tuesday and
Much Love,
Jennifer

Oh my word...this is great! But I just had to share with you what I did with my seven year old...I found a website called "Thank a Million" and in honor of Veteran's Day, she wrote a letter of thanks last week. (I posted about it briefly)
When we were first married, my husband was on deployments where he received thank you notes from kids and it was a blessing.

I'll look into this one too! :)

Thanks for the heads up. My kids and I will do this today when they get home. I am always looking for ways to teach them and showing kindness and honoring others.

We have been sending this around work too! Great cause and it doesn't require you to enter in any personal information.

My brother was a Marine and served in Iraq and he said things like this really help.

Take care,
Leigh

Thanks for posting about this. We found out about this site a couple of months ago. I set up a reminder in my Outlook calendar to remind me to send some every week. We send out 4-one for each family member-each week. It is easy and free and the very least we can do to let our troops know that the media negativity is not what everyone back home thinks. Thanks again!!
