Heirloom sewing - Smocking

I trust everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend! We had a great time... headed up to my sis's house (about 2 1/2 hours north) and enjoyed some good family time with everyone! Our little son was especially fond of the pool... and the food was fabulous!
I will be posting this week about heirloom sewing- different types and examples. Featured here today is a smocked bib that I made for my daughter (under the guidance of my mama!) and it is my very first smocking project... was alot a fun to do, too! The Smocking Arts Guild of America has great info for beginners and pros alike. Click here for more info.... Have a great Tuesday!
Much Love,
Jennifer

Beautiful bib!! Now that you have done this project..you must start another..and before you know it, you will be hooked on the smocking thing! In all of my projects, I have never done a bib..I must try one.
