Lol, did anyone NOT watch the Dukes of Hazzard as a kid - I still love it today!

I loved:3 Things I Don't Understand:
1. Why people pull out right in front of you in traffic, and then go 15 miles per hour??
2. Why some people belittle others to make themselves look better
3. How God could love someone like me so much

Amen to all three.

And you made me laugh with the foods, hushpuppies are shoes here in the UK - a bit chewy, lol.

I just came over here from Mrs. Blythe's site. I saw that your Dh is going to Iraq. I wanted to encourage you this morning. My DH spent all of last year in Iraq. He was away from our home for 18 months. I will not sugar coat it. It was very hard on me and most definately on my sweet children. I have two verses that I memorized and meditated on daily.
1Cor 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man and God is faithful who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also so that you will be able to endure it.
Phil. 4:6
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thansgiving let your requests be made known to God.
These verses saw me through. I hope they can do the same for you.
Blessings,
Trixi
