How to...

My Grandmother wrote this on my "Pampered Bride" apron when we got married. I came across it again today.

How to Preserve a Husband
Be careful in your selection, do not choose too young. When once selected, give your entire thought to preparation for domestic use. Some insist on keeping them in a pickle, others are constantly getting them in hot water. This makes them sour, hard, and sometimes bitter. Even poor varations may be made sweet, tender and good by garnishing them with love and seasoning with kisses. Wrap them in a mantle of charity. Keep warm with a steady fire of domestic devotion and serve with peaches and cream. Thus prepared, they will keep for years.

Happy Wednesday and
Much Love,
Jennifer

I love cute things like this that still have so much wisdom mixed in. Looking forward to seasoning my husband with kisses when he comes home from work tonight! BTW, what is a "pampered bride apron"?

It is an apron from the Pampered Chef that has a place on the front for people to sign, leave recipes and wishes for the new couple! very cute...
