A Long Day

It has been a fun, but looooong day!! Mama spent the night with us last night, and we had a day filled with shopping, eating out, more shopping, visiting relatives and a 2 1/2 year old's meltdown in the store toward the end of it all (note to self.... the fabrics section of any store is NOT a good place to be during naptime for 2 little ones). So y'all will have to excuse me.... a hot bubble bath and a good book are calling my name!
Happy Thursday and
Much Love,
Jennifer

That sounds just perfect. I think I'll treat myself to one of those tonight too. I've been washing the walls in my dining room and my arms and knees are getting so tired and sore!

Jennifer, you have had a long day! I'm dure it was fun though.. I often wish my mom was closer so we could spend more time together. It's great to be busy when our husbands are away though. It keeps our minds off of the fact that he's gone for at least a couple of minutes.... Stay spiritually & emotionally strong. Andy will be back in no time. Love & Prayers, Mrs.Clark

P.S. I read the comment that your hubby left on the blog with your son & the lipstick(so cute!!) I went ot his blog and boy did I have Deja Vu. Your husband and mine think a lot a like. I told my husband about what things your husband said on his site and my husband totally agreed. It was what he would say. Lol..

Jennifer!! Just tracked back to your husband's blog for the first time. He's a police officer?!?! Mine, too (guess my blog title sort of gives that away, though!). My husband has been a deputy in our county for 25 years. Just had to mention that I finally figured that out. God bless you!!

Mrs. Linebarger,-
Well, I guess you could say that he WAS a police officer... He has been a full- time pilot (airplanes and helicopters) for the Army for over a year now--so doesn't look like he will be going back to the P.D.- which is fine with me because I worried about him so much- at the P.D. he did S.W.A.T and undercover stuff, too, and got called out a lot in the middle of the night, etc- not great for family life (Kim, darling, if you are reading this you know what I mean)!!!! He has always been a helicopter (and more recently airplane) pilot IN ADDITION to his other duties- AND was the company commander of a flight unit about 2 1/2 hours away from here! So things got a little hectic around our house to say the least. I am so proud of my highly trained 6'3 warrior with the big muscles, though! He is my hero. And I'm sure your hubby is yours- and I bet your boys LOVE it!!!
Someday, I'll post our "story" and my journey to being a stay at home mom. God Bless you, too for being the (experienced) wife of a law enforcement officer! I am sure you could tell me alot of stories!

Mrs. L-
That Jeep is gone from my garage, now!!!!! Praise the Lord (really!) My darling finally took it to a pro garage where they are helping him out on the restoration, and have my parking back! YAY!

You have every right to be brimming with pride for your husband. Yes, my husband is my hero, as yours is to you. That's the way God intended it!! :-)
