Fall Dreamin

Autumn. Doesn't the word just conjure up images of football games, hot chocolate, crunching through leaves, bobbing for apples, wearing sweaters and pumpkins??

Well, folks, here in the oven of South Mississippi it is still summertime, still as humid as ever, and autumn seems as far away as, well, Christmas!
HOWEVER, during a trip to the Hallmark store today, I simply couldn't help myself and bought some new fall goodies. Even if the temperature IS 90++ outside, I can still pretend, can't I? Who knows? I may even break out the Christmas CDs next week ;-) !
Happy Monday and
Much Love,
Jennifer

I got the best candle from Bath & Body Works last year for Fall. The scent is Pumpkin and it smells wonderful. I can't wait to get it back out this year.

You sound just like me Jennifer! I am sooo ready for Fall:) I love the pilgrims you got. I got some at the dollar store a few years ago and they look sort of on the "scary" side!! That looks like a Harvest scent candle. I have one as well, LOVE IT!!!

I can see you are thinking cool thoughts. lol

That's one way to deal with it!

Its still summer here too, believe it! Can't wait for when it really is fall 'round here. That's prime time for fun in the sun. (Its just gets too hot and humid here to do that much in the summer)

;)

Fall is my favourite time of year, though I'm dreading being "socked in" this winter. The leaves are already starting to turn around here and the weather is cooling down...

I love the pilgrims!! I started collecting sets of them (along with Indian pairs) a few years ago. It's so much fun to decorate for fall with Thanksgiving-type decor.

I love decorating for fall! But like with every new season, I refuse to do it too early...like to savor the one I'm still in a bit longer. However, I totally understand your fall dreamin' down south!

I just posted about our trip to Mt. Hood this weekend...and even up there it was pretty warm!

You are a girl after my own heart. I am so ready for fall and all those things you mentioned. Is there any way to fast forward to mid-October?

I have fall fever, too - cannot WAIT. And there's nothing like a good, spicy-smelling candle to trick your brain into thinking that it's maybe a WEE bit cooler. :-)
